Autism Early Support (AES) launched the Parent’s Portal as a free resource in 2024 to provide families with trusted information, practical strategies, and a safe community space. The portal is designed for parents and carers of children aged 2–17 years who are autistic or showing signs of neurodivergence.

The site offers a library of resources, including articles, videos, and downloadable guides, alongside bite-size advice for busy parents. Members can also access live workshops, support groups, and discussion forums, giving families the chance to learn, share, and connect with others who understand their journey.

Laura Gommersall, Head of Children’s Services at AES, explains: “Our Parent’s Portal is the product of our continued efforts to address parents’ concerns in a format that’s easy to use and solution-based. We know parents are time-poor … The Portal offers all of this, plus it’s been designed to continually evolve in line with parents’ needs.”
