We are currently (as of now) operating as business as usual but this is a shifting scene and we are taking our direction from Public Health England and Government updates to NHS Trusts.
We are not cancelling any clinics or appointments, however visiting restrictions are having an impact on this.
Some schools have implemented a no visitor policy and some community facilities e.g. Tesco community room and Chesham Town Hall have closed their bookings which impacts on our ability to deliver services (across therapies, Health Visitors. Where external community clinic rooms are being cancelled we are trying to rearrange and parents are being contacted directly. We are also still providing home visits should the family not be self-isolating and the visit is not critical. We also follow Trust policy on PPE and infection control should we be a critical service for that family in self-isolation – this is not our usual function
We await further direction but for now we are open as usual and delivering as fully as we can.
