External Event: Christmas on the Cobbles: accessible event

Loading Events

We are committed to making Christmas on the Cobbles as accessible and welcoming to as many people as we can. Here are some of the measures we have taken to make sure everyone is able to enjoy the festive cheer:
A Quiet Zone inside Friars Square Shopping Centre 12-4:30pm for anyone who needs a break, marked with a sunflower flag as well as BSL interpretation by Hand Talking which will be available for some performances and the light switch on.
A designated accessible viewing area near the chilternviewicerink.co.uk stage ensures a great view of the festivities for all.
To help you prepare, we’ve created a visual story of the event. Our visual stories support the neurodiverse community by helping them to get a feel for what the event is like.
Ear defenders are available to loan for those sensitive to sound.
For the Illuminated Parade, we have made the High Street a sensory-safe place where the noises are the quietest.
