Dear Parents and Carers,

We will be holding evening Parent Carer forums this term in Buckingham and Chesham and it would be great if you could join us at one of them.

These forums will give us the opportunity to brief you on this term’s key topics

  • The Future of Short Breaks and
  • Home to School Transport for 16 - 18 year olds with SEN,

and hear your feedback on these and indeed any other topics of your choosing.

Coffee, tea biscuits etc will be available.

Both events will be from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m.

CHESHAM - Tuesday 13th November Chesham Town Hall, Chesham, HP5 1DS

BUCKINGHAM – Wednesday 28th November Buckingham Community Centre, Cornwalls Meadow,
Buckingham MK18 1RP

Both consultations are now live on the BCC web site.

We will also be holding our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 29th November from 10.30 am until midday 12 noon at Missenden Abbey in Great Missenden which will include a question and answer session with Buckinghamshire County Council’s Director of Education, Sarah Callaghan. Once again, the meeting is open to any Parent or Carer (not just Members of FACT Bucks).

At 9.30 a.m. we have organised for bacon rolls, tea and coffee in the upper gallery so if you are planning to come along please drop us a quick email so we can ensure that we have enough. http://missendenabbey.co.uk/

FACT Bucks works hard to make the voice of Parents and Carers heard across the County structures and to do that we need to hear your concerns. You are welcome at either event but if you can’t join us, please let us know your views on any topic relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Best wishes
