About us

Today, there are around 2,800 people in Buckinghamshire living with autism. The Buckinghamshire Joint Autism Strategy aims to help diagnosed people (of all ages) enjoy more rewarding lives with their families and carers. You'll be travelling across the county, working with autistic individuals and their communities to help us achieve our vision.

The role

Key to delivering our strategy, you'll play a vital role in delivering the Autism Pathway for Buckinghamshire. Essentially, your expertise and knowledge of the area's care facilities will allow you to direct people to the services they need most. You'll collaborate with autistic individuals to create activities that help them form real relationships with people in their community. But most importantly, your ability to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders will help to create a society that understands and accepts them.
